Thank you Nancy for this vibrant color combination...as you said, a little Christmas, eyeing Valentines, and peaking into Spring hues! I am never ahead of the 8 ball when it comes to preparations for holidays...so for me, I am still creating Christmas cards.
When Starbucks had this sleeve a few years back, I couldn't resist tucking away a few for using on cards... how about this one. I see potential in so very many things...do you?
The sleeve was cut to resemble a cup, I created the handle by using half the circle from a scallop die. Brenda Walton's fun peppermint paper along with the snowflake ef in the upper corner adds just the right retro Christmas twist, don't you think? I stuffed it full of the packaging squiggles and added the tiny listen at the bottom.
Stories make great gifts, even better if you get them written down or recorded or videoed. I know I cherish the journals and books and photos I have of long ago loved ones. I'm going to work hard these next few weeks to listen harder to stories freely given.
May you be blessed yourself with the stories you receive this holiday season.

Me too! I just got the last of my cards mailed today, but I'm still working on those going in with the gifts. I really really like that sentiment - is that a stamp or did you make it yourself with letters? Or did it come on the sleeve? I think I need it if it's a stamp. How clever of you to make the handle from the dies. Put it in my favs

Awesome use of your wonderful STUFF. Susan you are giving me a run for my money. Leftovers are such wonderful things and your peppermint striped card is tops. And "listen" is such great advice.

Susan, I love how you always have 'a little something' to make your cards unique. Always a joy to see, and to read a little story from YOU is a bonus ....
